NH35 automatic movement with a date window. It winds itself as you wear it and keeps running for about 41 hours when fully wound.

Crown positions

In
Normal. Turn the crown away from you (clockwise) to wind.
One click
Date. Turn the crown toward you (counterclockwise).
Two clicks
Time. The seconds hand stops while the crown is out.

Get it running

  1. If your crown screws down, unscrew it first by turning it toward you until it releases.
  2. With the crown in, turn it clockwise about 30 times. Then wear it, or shake it gently from side to side.

Set the date, then the time

  1. Pull the crown out one click. Turn it counterclockwise until the date is one day before today.
  2. Pull it out to the second click. Turn the hands forward until the date changes, which marks midnight. Keep turning to the correct time and make sure AM and PM are right.
  3. Push the crown back in when your reference time arrives, so the seconds hand starts at the right moment.
  4. Screw the crown down if it has threads.

Do not change the date between about 9 PM and 3 AM. The date wheel is engaged then, and forcing it can damage the movement. Move the time past that window first, then set the date.
